Cable TV outage, W85

MIT Cable service is down in W85, replacement equipment is expected to be in and service restored Thursday June 20th.   

Scheduled normal power shutdown in W59, Tues 6/18 and Fri 6/21.

A normal power shutdown request for Bldg. W59-All will occur on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 and Friday, June 21, 2013 from 1:00AM - 6:00AM on both days.  Any questions please contact Billy Homeyer x8-0432.

June 20 - 2am: A problem is preventing some people from connecting to their Exchange mailbox. IS&T is aware of the problem and is investigating. The reports we have so far indicate that the problem is limited, and only affects people using one particular server and one particular storage database on that server.

6/19/2013 1:30PM This morning's intermittent VoIP issues have now been resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience, but if you are having any further issues please contact telephone-help@mit.edu for assistance. 

6/18/2013 IS&T is aware of an issue on many MITvoip phones with flashing Message Waiting indicators.  The MWI light may flash even though there are no new messages.  We're working on resolving the problem.  If you'd like to report your phone experiencing this issue, please get in touch with the Telephone Help CSRs at telephone-help@mit.edu.

6/17/2013 9:00 PM.  Maintenance will begin on the Unity Voicemail system and users may see a short outage while the system is updated and then brought back online.  MITvoip phone service should continue without disruption including incoming and outgoing calls.

Thursday May 30th: Warehouse off-campus access policy takes effect. On the evening of May 30th a new firewall policy will be put in place for the Data Warehouse. This change is in accordance with the recently announced Institute policy.
