Greetings. Today is Monday, November 23, 2009. This "3DOWN" Services Status page lists the status of the major services available to the MIT community, including scheduled and unscheduled outages.

General Services

Wireless Upgrade in Building 46 Starting Tuesday Nov. 17th, IS&T will be upgrading the wireless network in Building 46. Users may experience brief serivce outages while the new equipment is installed. Wired network service will not be affected. The work is expected to be complete on the 24th. Wireless Upgrade in Building E18 and E17. The wireless upgrades in E17 and E18 are complete. Wired Upgrade in Building NW14/NW15. Starting Friday Nov. 13th 6pm, IS&T will be upgrading the wired network in Building NW14 and NW15. Users may experience brief serivce outages while the new equipment is installed. The outage should only last 30 minutes at the most.

Wireless Upgrade in Building 46

Starting Tuesday Nov. 17th, IS&T will be upgrading the wireless network in Building 46. Users may experience brief serivce outages while the new equipment is installed. Wired network service will not be affected. The work is expected to be complete on the 24th.

The wireless upgrades in E17 and E18 are complete.
